Omoyele Sowore, a presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, running under the platform of the African Action Congress party (ACC).
Has stated in a tweet on his Twitter handle that, if he is elected as president of Nigeria in the forthcoming general election, what is now known as National Youth Service Corps would no longer be compulsory, instead it will become a voluntary 2-year expanded “Job Corps” programme for fresh graduates.
Recall that Sowore had contested for the presidential race before, in 2019 but came fifth.
