PDLP 2027: Atiku and Peter Obi Meets Behind Closed Doors

 In a surprise move, Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, paid a visit to Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice-President and Peoples Democratic Party candidate, at his private residence in Abuja on Monday, May 13. 

This marked the first time the two political leaders had met since May 2022, sparking speculation among political analysts about the purpose of their meeting.

The visit was confirmed by a post on Atiku’s official social media handle, which showed the two exchanging handshakes and captioned, “It was my honour and privilege to host Peter Obi today. – AA.” While the details of their discussion remain undisclosed, insiders hint that the meeting may be a strategic move ahead of the 2027 general election.
