The Federal Government has announced the reopening of schools, resumption of domestic flights, enable interstate travels so a long way it is now notoutside curfew time.

Chairman of the Task Force on COVID-19 and Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, introduced this Monday’s briefing of the PTF. He stated this follows after President Muhammadu Buhari viewed and permitted the 5th Interim Report of the PTF, with the exception of some changes to be expatiated upon later.

“Provision of technical assist for states to mobilise extra assets for the response;
“Strengthening partnerships with States, Local Governments, normal rulers, community/religious leaders and civil society to make certain acceleratedpublic recognition and compliance with preventive guidelines;
“Encouraging State governments to empower Local Government Authorities to intensify contact tracing efforts and make sure more suitable grassroots mobilisation to help the response;

“Encourage States and Hospital authorities to make sure continuity of different fitness offerings to stopfatalities from different life-threatening stipulationsat some stage in the COVID-19 pandemic; and
“Deepening of collaboration with different mandate companies at States/Federal ranges to harmonise the country’s COVID-19 response in the short, medium and lengthy terms.
