If I am Buhari, I will stop 2nd Niger Bridge, Lagos – Kano Rail and Siemens Power Deal Because
The Nigeria political twitter savage responder and self acclaimed Minister of Defense known as Alabi Opeyemi Olademeji has taken to his social media page to express his thoughts.
Alabi, is a one die-hard fans of Nigeria president and big supporter of Major General, President Muhammed Buhari’s government. Alabi stated on his write up he said
“If I was Buhari, I will stop the 2nd Niger Bridge, the Lagos Kano railway and the Siemens power deal, pump all available monies into subsidising power, fuel and may be food.”
He quoted that , “Since food is our problem, PDP was right, once you give Nigerians food, let them live the rest of their lives in backwardness, they are comfortable.”
According to Alaba he asked? “Who even told Buhari we wanted light? Who even told Buhari the Igbos needed the second Niger bridge? Did we Yorubas beg him for the Lagos-Ibadan Railway?”
Loko Oweto bridge has been there for 37 years did the people of that area complain? Kogi and Warri people never for once ask for the completion of the railway project abandoned for almost 40 years.
We did not tell him that we are tired of going around the world cap in hand begging for food to feed 200million people.
Enugu Airport that was always submerged in flood each time it rained was the beauty of the coal city state, they loved it like that….We didn’t beg him for airport modernization and renovation, did we?
Buhari return us to 2015 so we can also ask PDP to return us to Abacha era, then Abacha will return us back to the colonial masters, we are good as slaves.
This is us, we are docile, gullible and lousy. We gloat in folly as we celebrate the precolonial achievements. Why should we have light, when we are destined to dwell in darkness?
Why should we have railways, when we can buy heads of trailers loaded with containers that spoils our road and kill us most times, are we complaining? Who cares if Lagos is the only functioning port in Nigeria of 200m inhabitants.
Buhari should take us to 2015, we have a question to ask PDP about Abacha era, how come fuel was N11 then and dollar was N22 and a bag of rice N1,500, a tin of peak milk was N35?
Buhari should take us back to 2015, I want to know how we survived the long queue at filling stations and sometimes sleeps 3 days at filling stations just to buy 25 liter of fuel.
I want to take census of his many souls we wasted to fire caused by fuel hoarding, how many houses and valuables we lost then.
Buhari should take us to 2015, I want to know where Boko Haram wants to bomb in the South, after they must have overrun the entire North. Buhari should take us back to 2015, let’s see which plane was going to drop from the sky next and how many casualties…
Buhari should take us back to 2015, I want to know how PDP will manage oil price at$28/barrel when, already 30 states could no longer afford to pay even when oil was selling at $75/barrel and the federal govt was borrowing to pay salaries…
Buhari should take us back to 2015, I want to know how we survived a near depleted external reserves, the reserves was $65bn before Yaradua died, but by 2015, it was $28bn and we kept on importing everything and anything. Buhari should take us back, that’s where we may be destined to be as a people.
Do you agree with him?
