No Hand Shaking, No Hugging as IMT Enugu Released Guidelines For Safe Reopening

Following the recent directive by the federal government to all schools to reopen from October 12, 2020, the management of Institute of Management and Technology IMT Enugu State, has asked all students and lecturers to resume by October 12, 2020.

According to the report made available to Matters Arising by IMT Enugu Registrar Dr. Mrs Ijeoma C. Aneke on a circular the statement  disclosed that all lectures would commence from October 12, 2020.

In a Statement release by IMT Registrar says “I am directed to inform the IMT community that the institute will reopen on Monday 12th October, 2020 in line with the directive of the commissioner for education vide letter to the IMT Rector”

She also said that, everyone in the campus to ensure that all Covid19-19 protocol and NCDC guideline for containing the spread of the virus are strictly observed.

The management of institute of management and technology has made the below rules and regulations mandatory for all her students, staffs and even visitors

  1. Everyone must always wear face masks
  2. Head of Department must have their wash hand basins at the entrance of their department
  3. Always maintain social distancing: that’s no shaking of hands and no hugging
