IMT, ESUT & Other Schools in Enugu might not resume January 4th as earlier Slated The Enugu State Ministry of Education said it has scheduled to meet with major stakeholders in the sector, on Monday, January 4, 2021, to discuss schools resumption in the state.

According to a statement released by the Commissioner for Education, Prof. Uche Eze, the outcome of the meeting will be duly communicated to the general public.

Meanwhile, the management institute of Management and Technology IMT, ESUT and others has earlier announced the school resumption date on the Christmas and new year break circular signed by the registrar of the institution.

The statement made available by the school registrar of IMT reads, I hereby announce that the Christmas Break starts on Wednesday 23rd December 2020 in accordance with the 2019/2020 Academic calendar of Events. Lectures continues for all Students on 4th January, 2021 as scheduled.

Students are hereby directed to vacate the Institute hostels on or before Wenesday 23rd December, 2020. The Director, Students Affairs, Chief Security Officer and other relevant officers of the Institute are by the copies of this circular directed to do the needful.

All Students are therefore, expected back on campus on the said date to continue with the activities for the second semester, 2019/2020 Academic Session.
