The reality Tv star, Olamilekan Massoud Al-Khalifah Agbeleshebioba, professionally known as Laycon has expressed concern over the closure of the university campuses across the country.
The Academy Staff Union of University ASUU who has been on strike for months now and insisting that until Federal Government fulfill all promises before members will resume work
Laycon while reacting to the little or no attention been paid to the ongoing strike, he wrote;
“I’m scared ooo, I’m really scared. What kind of government is this !!! Universities are closed, they have been closed for months and this mandem are focused on elections alone.
Meanwhile, the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, through its national president, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, says it is shameful that there is no information and nothing new from the Federal Government even as the current warning strike will be ending in two weeks.
Prof Osodeke told newsmen that the government has not made any effort to get in touch with the union or seek ways of ending the strike. He added that the union might have no choice but to roll over the strike after its expiration on May 14.
