Delta State Announced October 2 For Reopening Of Schools
The Delta State Government has confirmed that academic activities will return to tertiary institutions across the state on October 2, 2020, immediately after independence day, following months of closure to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was earlier reported that an official from the government had revealed that tertiary institutions in the state may resume on septembe 21 tentatively.
According to the statement of the State Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Patrick Muoboghare, while addressing journalists, explained that the state owned higher institutions will resume from October 2 in phases in conformity with the new protocols in respect of the COVID-19 outbreak in the country.
