INEC extends PVC collection deadline to February 5

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced an extension of the deadline for the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) by one week. The new deadline is now set for February 5th. This extension is an effort to give more Nigerians the opportunity to collect their PVCs before the upcoming elections.

PVCs are essential for citizens to be able to participate in the democratic process and exercise their right to vote. The extension of the deadline is therefore a welcome development for many citizens who may have been unable to collect their PVCs within the previous deadline.

It is important to note that this is the final extension that will be granted by the INEC. Therefore, citizens are urged to take advantage of this opportunity and collect their PVCs as soon as possible. The INEC has set up various collection centers across the country, making it more convenient for citizens to obtain their PVCs.

The upcoming elections in Nigeria are of great significance and it is important that citizens are able to participate and have their voices heard. The extension of the deadline for the collection of PVCs is a step in the right direction and will hopefully lead to a higher voter turnout.
