LASBCA GM addressed NITP Lagos chapter, highlights achievement, challenges
The General Manager of the Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA), Arc. Gbolahan Owodunni Oki, addressed the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners, Lagos Chapter during monthly meeting on 17th of January 2023. During his speech, Oki highlighted the various activities, challenges and achievements of the Agency under the current administration.

One of the major activities of the LASBCA is the enforcement of building codes and regulations in the state. This includes ensuring that all buildings are constructed in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations, as well as carrying out regular inspections to ensure that safety standards are met. The agency also works to prevent illegal and unauthorised construction, which can be a major safety hazard.
