The NNPC (Nigerian National Petroleum of Nigeria) has quietly increased and approved the new price of petrol in Nigeria.
The Body has increased the fuel price from N165 per litre to N179 per Litre and the decision will be effective from Tuesday 19th July 2022.
The NNPC have Notified All the Fuel Marketers to change the Price to the new price which will be effective starting from today.
This new decision was taken due to the fuel scarcity in the country since few weeks ago which has led some of the petrol marketers to sell it in different prices without any specific amount.
A lot of fuel filling stations have started selling at the approved price while others are still selling above the price.
