Former president Olusegun Obasanjo and former Ekiti State governor Kayode Fayemi, on Thursday, visited the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
As at the time of this report, the purpose of their visit is unknown, but it is believed that the three leaders discussed important issues affecting the country and the state of Rivers.
Obasanjo and Fayemi have both been vocal about their support for good governance and the development of Nigeria. Wike, for his part, has been recognized for his efforts to improve the infrastructure and living conditions of Nigerians.
Our Political analysts believe that the meeting could be a sign of a possible collaboration between the three leaders in the upcoming 2023 general elections.
Obasanjo and Fayemi have both held high-ranking positions in the country and their support would be a significant boost for any candidate.
