Former Governor of Anambra State and 2023 presidential election candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has fulfilled his promise to assist Ms Gimba Sophia Emmanuel, a lady who couldn’t afford an oven to start her baking and confectionery business. Peter Obi, a well-known philanthropist, made the pledge to support Ms Emmanuel after she shared her story on social media.

Ms Emmanuel’s story went viral after she posted on Twitter about her dream of starting a baking and confectionery business but couldn’t afford an oven, which is a crucial piece of equipment for her business.
