Peter Obi responds to Tinubu, saying, ‘There is dignity in labor.’Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, has responded to a criticism of the LP made by Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

During the APC governorship rally in Osun on Tuesday, Tinubu referred to the LP as a “mushroom party.”

Speaking at an LP rally in Osun on Wednesday, Obi stated that the APC presidential candidate’s remark is motivated by hatred, but that the LP will respond with love.

“I paid attention when our national chairman said that someone said they could work until they died.” When they say such things and show you hatred, the Labour Party will show them love, he said, adding, “Labour has dignity.”

Obi, who urged Osun residents to vote for the LP’s governorship candidate, Yusuf Lasun, stated that the party’s priority is to improve the well-being of citizens.

“Vote Labour Party so that your children will be able to work.” “Choose people who will work for you,” he suggested.

“We want to change Nigeria, and the only way to do so is to get rid of everyone who has kept Nigeria in the same place for the past 23 years.” It is time for them to go.

“They owe salaries and pensions, and hard workers are not compensated.” However, if you vote Labour Party on Saturday, this will come to an end.

“Vote for the Labour Party; vote for the future of your children.” Vote for the candidate who is committed to improving Osun.

“We will introduce you to a governor who is dedicated to making Osun a better place, and that is what we want.”

Also speaking, the party’s national chairman, Julius Abure, stated that people should not sell their votes.

“I implore you not to sell your future, no matter how much money they offer you,” he said.
