Purported N700million debt, a cheap blackmail- Ajipe campaign organisation

The attention of Ajipe Campaign Organization has been drawn to a misleading media report on social media by one Hakeem Ayodele Bamidele about a purported N700 million being owed the leading aspirant for the Ondo North Senatorial Districts on the platform of the APC, Chief Dr Alex Ajipe, by the Ondo State government.

Chief Ajipe wishes to put it on record that the governor of the state, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, remains his benefactor whom he owes in very high regard.

He also wishes to clarify that his business is independent of his political aspirations. He has, at no point discussed his political, business and other intentions or engagements with the Government, neither has he engaged any agent of government to act on his behalf.

He is also of the firm belief that this election will not be won on blackmail; and that it is only the people that will decide who and what they want.

We wish to state here that there is no single truth in the report and that it is a cheap, politically-motivated blackmail with the sole aim of scoring cheap political point.

It is an open truth that Chief Ajipe holds Governor Akeredolu, whom he often regards as a father and benefactor, in very high regards.

The Ajipe Campaign Organisation, however, wishes to issue a piece of advice to these devious and wicked people to focus their energies on whatever positive thing they wish to do for the people of the Ondo North Senatorial District, if they ever had any.

Such lilly-livered leaders should bury their heads in shame for resorting to such cowardly acts in the name of politics. With their latest action, it is now obvious that they have failed to connect with the people in any way and have failed even before the start of the race.

And to the determined people of our dear district who have long been denied of their rights, it is important you know that Ajipe is currently busy and strategising on how to return smiles and laughter to the faces of the good people of Ondo North Senatorial Districts after years of bad representation.

As you all know, this is the time of blackmail from faceless politicians who have failed in all areas of governance. They are group of people who have nothing to offer our people. They are what our elders call Agbalowomeri.

While we wait for them to come out and tell the people what they have in stock for them, we make proud to say that Ajipe remains the best alternative to the several years of pains inflicted on the people by these wicked leaders, whose stock-in-trade is to come onto the stage every four election years and run away from the people thereafter.

We advise them to stop looking for cheap endorsement and come out to tell the people of Ondo North Senatorial Districts on their achievements so far and what they have for the people.
