The NIMC has come up with an effective measure to avoid over-crowding during NIN registration
The commission announced on Tuesday, December 29, that the enrolment exercise will be through a booking system
The pattern will enable all applicants with specific numbers to be registered on particular days
With effect from Wednesday, December 30, National Identification Number (NIN) applicants will be required to do the registration exercise through a booking system throughout the country.
The new guideline was issued on Tuesday, December 29, by the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), Punch reports.
The NIMC’s spokesman, Kayode Adegoke, in a statement released on Tuesday disclosed that applicants will now be enrolled only through a number-issuing queue system to achieve orderliness in line with new COVID-19 protocols.
