Delta Police rescue two kidnapped victims, kill one suspected kidnapper

The Delta State Police Command has announced the rescue of two kidnapped victims in the Orogun, area of the state.

The police disclosed that one of the suspected kidnappers died due to injuries sustained during the gun duel.

This was made known in a post shared by the Delta Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, on Sunday, April 28.

The caption reads: “Delta State Police Command on 26th April 2024, successfully rescued two kidnapped victims in Orogun, one of the suspected kidnappers died due to injuries sustained during the gun duel.

“Eagle Net, Owvian Aladja division also arrested a suspected armed robber and recovered one English-made Berretta pistol.

“The CP Delta State CP Abaniwonda has promised Deltans that during his time as Commissioner of Police Delta State, Deltans will sleep with their two eyes closed.”
